Non-irritating Non-hexothermic Non-toxic Biocompatible
SureKlot™ Spray is a wound irrigation solution that has excellent cleaning and decontamination ability while remaining gentle on the wound, assisting in the removal of foreign bodies, wound eschars and dirt, making it easier to the debridement process. By reducing the microbial load and preventing biofilm formation at the wound site, this creates an ideal environment on which healing agents can act.
The SureKlot™ spray offers a real active antibacterial barrier thanks to its positive charge by creating a colorless protective film over the entire wound bed as well as on the edges.
The protonated bioadhesive technology PBT™ aims to increase the positive charge of the cationic biopolymer as well as all the inherent biological properties of Chitosan. Indeed, this contribution of positive charge considerably increases the electrostatic interaction of the PBT™ biopolymer, thus promoting its mucoadhesive, hemostatic, anti-microbial, anti-inflammatory, analgesic and healing properties of Chitosan PBT™.
This technology therefore allows the use of the SureKlot™ spray for the control of superficial bleeding but also in the treatment and healing of wounds.
SureKlot™ Spray is recommended for:
Control bleeding from superficial wounds (abrasions, contusions, cuts, etc.).
Facilitate the disintegration of biofilm structure and prevention of biofilm.
Treatment of infected wounds or wounds presenting an increased risk of infection, necrotic wounds, cavitary wounds, traumatic and surgical wounds, bedsores, limb ulcers, burns, contusions and abrasions, Dermatomycosis
On superficial wounds, abrasions, cuts, fresh burns: apply 1 to 2 sprays per day to rinse, clean and protect the wound (colorless microfilm). On wounds which present a risk of infection, make 2 to 3 applications per day. In the presence of biofilm, apply 2 to 3 sprays over the entire wound bed as well as on the edges (exceeding the edges by one centimeter) and leave to act for a minimum of 10 minutes before repeating the operation. The electrostatic activity of the spray allows the structure of the biofilm to gradually disintegrate, making it less adherent and will facilitate its removal. Use this protocol twice a day for 3 days and gradually reduce the number of applications depending on the progression of the wound and until complete healing.
On heavily contaminated and infected wounds, make 2 to 3 applications per day for 5 days and gradually reduce the number of applications depending on the progress of the wound, until complete healing.
To protect your surgical closures made with sutures or staples (active antimicrobial barrier) and maintain a humid environment at the scar level, use one application / day (2 to 3 sprays). Always be careful to go beyond the banks.
Reminder: use physiological saline/water to remove the protective film created by the SureKlot™ spray between each application.
