A typical treatment with GOLDIC® begins with collecting a blood sample from the patient. Serum processing is the most important step. GOLDIC® tubes filled with patient blood and gold particles will be incubated and then centrifuged to separate the serum from other blood cells. This serum enriched with growth factors and important cytokines is then provided for injection. The serum concentrate obtained is then injected. A treatment generally consists of four (4) injections of the treated serum at an interval of 3 to 5 days.
It is strongly recommended to carry out the injections under ultrasound control. For joint indications, the injections will be carried out intra-articularly and for tendon or muscular lesions, the injections will initially be carried out intra-lesional then peri-lesional.
